Oasis

Carren Winters isn't popular. She doesn't know what to say. She doesn't understand why the girls at her school talk about lipgloss and crushes, or why the boys all despise her. She doesn't understand why her little brother Max is so weird, and why he has no friends. She doesn't understand why Dad left them all, or why Mum doesn't talk anymore. The only person she does understand is Juno, a boy who knows everything, especially that just being popular doesn't make you a good person. She just can't figure out why he ran away - or if she loves him.
