Blood Mates

Blood. I watched in awe as her blood dripped on the floor to pool around her body. They say that large amounts of blood should make you queasy or uncomfortable at least but all I felt at this moment is fascination. It was like the woman lying on the floor was a canvas painted entirely red. Except the woman lying dead is no canvas nor is she human. Sometimes I could swear I saw black shadows hovering over her, but no one believes me. She has a wild imagination they would say, or she's a teenager it's normal that she thinks her mother is a demon.
