“One, he’s my brother’s best friend.” I whispered, I leaned in closer to her so no one would hear my second valid point “and two, I’m a witch.”

In an unfortunate turn of events, Juliet’s parents were killed when she was eight. Why were they killed is a whole different matter. The people of the town were religious and thought her parents would call the ‘devil’ and have the village in burns, so the only way to end the problem is to kill the cause, but little did the town people know that they had children. A boy and a girl.
Juliet and Jayden Slater had fled as far away from the town as possible to the only place they could think of. Their Uncle Ray’s, but nothing seems to get better for them, until Juliet meets someone she knows she can never be with.
