But someone, or something, is preying on those new wizards and many of them have been going missing in downtown Seattle.  Ben suspects their competition, the Corporatists, are kidnapping his new recruits and taking them for themselves.  He's come to downtown, pretending to be a new wizard, to try and draw out the Corporatists and catch them in the act.
