Lamia Mitchell is an ordinary teenage girl, excluding the fact that she’s extremely shy and not very good at making friends. But Lamia is also a Christian girl nowadays people just throw the word “Christian” and “God” around but don’t follow God's word. However Lamia is different and actually tries to follow the bible. She was born and raised in a Christian household. What Lamia does not expect is overcoming struggles when she enters her new high-school. Lamia also has no social life, as in no friends.

Now take a look at Kaiden Rivera. He’s charming, sweet and even a bit funny. But you know what the catch is? He’s a total player. He's not the typical player though, he loves playing the guitar and secretly sings. Kaiden has never played or even sang in front of anyone, not even his family, since he has a bit of stage fright. Kaiden puts up a front to the public, but really he's having major problems in his home life. When Lamia shows up at Arrowsmith High with her brother Alec, is intrigued by her, like there is something special about the girl.

Will Kaiden overcome his problems?

Will Lamia open up?

And most of all will Lamia overcome her shyness and speak the word of God to Kaiden?

Stephanie Darasimi Ajayi is a 27 year old freelance interior designer in Lagos, Nigeria. At that age, with no prospective husband, everyone starts to bother her about finding a partner, but no one seems to get that she is trusting God's timing with her future spouse. He has promised her that He has someone for her, but she has to trust His timing. Omotayo Jayden Williams just turned 30. Although he owns a thriving restaurant, his mum has decided not to see past the fact that he is not married and seems to have no desire for women. Why can't she understand that he just needs time to heal from his last relationship and reconnect with God. They meet in a not-so-pleasant way at a friend's wedding and seem to keep seeing each other around. Coincidence?... I think not. Come on this journey with Stephanie and Tayo as they seek to put God first while navigating this thing called life. ~ "Are you really upset with me? I was joking.... o de ti binu beyen (and you're already angry)" he chuckles. "Jokes are supposed to be funny, Tayo." I reply with an unimpressed look. "Alright, I'm sorry." He walks up to me and with his arms wrapped around my waist and my back to his chest, he whispers slowly delivering gentle kisses to my neck "Ife mi, ayo mi, eni okan mi (my love, my joy, the one who owns my heart), please forgive me for teasing you about your hair" I giggle at his attempt to win my forgiveness even though we both know that I wasn't really angry. Turning to face him, I'm in awe by the fact that this is what my life is now; engaged to this beautiful, God seeking, loving, intelligent man, I'm nothing short of blessed. God really does keep his promises. "Forgiven." ~ This book will not contain explicit scenes or cursing, but it will include the everyday struggles of anyone seeking God in this generation... That being said, I pray this book reaches and helps someone who feels like they relate to the topics in this book... HAPPY READING 🤗🫶🏾
