Two years have passed since the Deity of Sin had been defeated, and Gamindustri had returned to peace. However the Eastern nation, Lastation, had struggled to regain its shares after the events years prior. Its CPU, Noire, and her younger sister Uni had tried to maintain Lastations position but with no luck. Because of this Noire and Uni, along with their Oracle Kei Jinguji, had practically dropped from the public's eye further causing Lastations decline to the point where crime had taken over the capital city, gangs and other thefts were a common occurrence. Only the Basilicom and its grounds were untouched by the crime syndicates that now ruled much of Lastations capital city.

Introducing my first Original Fanfic of Hyperdimension Nepunia Gamindustri is a world filled with wonder and technology as the four ruling nations of the world compete for video-game supremacy, with their ruling CPU's (Girls endowed with godly power) governing the populace...or at least its meant to be. The Real ruling Nation of the world is ASIC. With great power, technology and semi-corrupt ways of gaming they now govern most of the world. The CPU's did challenge them but lost and were banished long ago. Though New CPU's did come forth, the world is a much different place, the outside world been sucked of its life and light. Years later, ASIC now have near complete control, those willing to fight them shrinking by the day but the new CPU's develop one last ditch effort to turn the tide, the Soul-Ascension program. Nepgear has decided she has had enough of this torture. She wants to find her sister and the three other CPU's, but she can't do it alone. Desperate for aid, she runs as fast as she can towards Lastation's Basilicom, avoiding raiders and hostiles along the way. But what she found inside isn't what she expected to find at all. Nepgear finds out the hard way that some people fall into the chaos and turn to insanity quickly. Barely managing to escape from the grip of death, she returns to her hideout. She has a choice to make. Try and get Rom and Ram's help or go out into the wasteland alone to search for Neptune.
