But she has a new job on the horizon, and this could be what she needs to kick start her plans, see her start to live at last.
With a spring in her step she looks to the future until she realises that all is not as it seems, and nothing is ever that easy.

He's smirking down at me as he says, "Um, you're in my seat." I laugh and say, "You realize that is the most cliche thing you could possibly say?" He looks confused so I elaborate. "It's the first day of school and you're coming up the new girl, claiming I'm in your seat. Sorry, but it's not very original." He huffs and rolls his eyes. "Get out of my seat, sunshine." Now Amber is going to make Maddie get a taste of her own medicine. Amber is going to pretend to be a boy that is extremely "fascinated" in Maddie that "he" stalks her every move. Being a boy isn't easy, but with the help of her annoying next door neighbor she'll get her task done. Although there is still a mystery to be solved. What happens when Amber realizes the truth? The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic.
