Long ago, a species called Pokémon inhabited every corner of the earth, from the depths of the ocean to the atmosphere. They roamed the fields and swam in ponds. They rested in trees and flew overhead. They even thrived alongside humans, or so research says.

The Pokémon then vanished without a trace. They left nothing behind except the technology that people had used to study them. Those machines now decorated museums all across the lone country named Inridia in order to immerse the population in the history of the world. The humans that lived during that same time period were also never seen or heard from again.

Frost Statice -- son of a wealthy politician and student at one of Inridia's most prestigious academies -- was skeptic to believe the old stories. He thought they were nothing more than myths, for how could such a race have existed in such an ordinary universe? 

But when Frost encounters one of the creatures first hand, his perspective is forced to change. To uncover the truth behind the Pokémon's disappearance, he must dig deep into the history of Inridia itself.

Primal Dialga's rampage broke the time gears, and thus the world was plunged into eternal stillness. Now, an eternal frost creeps from the edges of the land, swallowing forests, cities and even skies. At the heart of this Glacial apocalyptic world stands Kyurem, the fractured dragon of winter, whose power gnaws at time and the now dying world of pokemon. Opposing him is not an army, but a scared and timid Mienshao. Tied together by the stars, she and her found family struggle against the cold to put the age of Kyurem to an end. In a world unraveling, the stars may hold the key...if they can stay alive long enough to grasp at their power. [This is a PMD Alternate Universe set 100 years after the main character's from PMD Explorers of Sky failed to save the world.] I'm hoping to turn this into a comic one day, I'm decent at art, but I'm simply not good enough to bring this to life in the way that I'd want it. I lack the proper skills to follow through with it right now, so a novel-style medium is what I'll be using. I don't own Pokemon.

It was around 150 years ago, when a war broke out among the 8 Eeveelution kingdoms. It was started by the Jolteon kingdom, as a war between themselves and the Vaporeon kingdom. The other kingdoms, excluding the Umbreon kingdom, joined sides with the Vaporeons, and nearly wiped out the Jolteon species completely. The Espeons mined out most, if not all of the thunder stones nearby, and hid them away. That was 150 years ago now. Jolteons are an incredibly rare sight these days. The other Eevees and Eeveelutions have been taught over the years that Jolteons are evil and soulless, and that evolving into one will change your mind for the worse, as well as being a sin against Arceus. Now, about 6 years ago, a couple exploring an old mine discovered one of the very few remaining thunder stones. They brought it home with them, but not without being spotted. Just a week later, they were forced to run away to protect their son from being discovered. They left both him, and the thunder stone behind. Now, 6 years later, there's a certain shiny Jolteon who's about to go on a journey. What may happen along the way? (This is the rewrite of Inside and Out. Some parts may be reused from the original.) Though one day, she made a decision that will seal her youth to a life of horror, turmoil, and even happiness, and joy. One that will leave her massive scar for the rest of her life, and find herself within a life of peace. Within these times of hardship, her perspective on the world changes... for the better, perhaps? Sometimes, within her eyes, she saw a semblance of hope. Perhaps everything is not lost... But maybe... her mind is just playing tricks with her, to make her feel better about the horrors of reality. ~~~ A little of an Alternative Universe of Eeveelution Squad and a lot of rewrites and modifications of the world's lore and scenes to my liking. Also modifying her character development so she doesn't get to the point of being angry all the time. Though she'll still get easily ticked off... And in relation to the ES world, this 'world building' of mine will alter some** of the lore and how the core altercations like the 'reformations' and 'berserker virus' works. Oh, and to add to that, Gaia will have a lot of diverse languages derived from unearthed dictionaries and a more modified history of Gaia. ~~~ Lazuli is the MC of this story. ...and i clearly don't own Pokémon, thank you. The name of this story, Horizon Blue, is inspired by the colour of the French Army during the later stages of the world war one; Horizon Blue.
