TURMOIL is spreading throughout the Galaxy !
As the GALACTIC EMPIRE rises through the
ashes of the former JEDI ORDER, a further
darkness spreads overhead.
On the distant planet RA'ARTHAK, in the
KASHYYYK SYSTEM, a native child is found
by another clan, and brought in, to be
raised alongside them, as PUK TAAREN.
All is well until an orphaned TOGRUTA female
joins their midst, and Puk decides to run off
with her, with a dangerous power and another
unbeknownst to him . . .

I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When naive alien brothers, Rik and Ren decide to leave their comfortable safe life and set out on their own as Freelancers they find that their first adventure takes them into a situation they aren't quite used too and find that they have to learn to adapt quickly and that the world isn't as safe as they thought it was! or that it would be as easy as they thought it would be and have to learn to rely on themselves and the crew of their small ship and basically come of age. The story I admit is strongly inspired by both Star Wars and Firefly but it is not taken in either of those universes although it could easily fit in both of them.
