I stare into the double sided mirror; my hand presses up against the cold glass. His glazed over green eyes pierces through the mirror.
"I can see you." He says.
My heart drops into the pit of my stomach, drowning in the acid of my fear.
The lust and anger swirls in his now unfamiliar pools of emerald gaze. The same eyes that looked over me at my best is now looking at me with the worst.
"Bring him back!" I scream, pounding on the thick glass. A pair of strong arms vine across my torso, pulling me away. He stands up abruptly with his hands still cuffed behind him.
      "Never!" He roars.
As they pull me from the room, an unrecognizable laughter rips from his chest. His body now only a husk of the boy I first fell in love with. Gone forever, replaced by a monster only the Devil wouldn't dare to face.

Aaliyah King was always the one to break the fall of those around her, brought up in a broken home, she moves back to a town where she use to spend her summers full of hope and new beginnings; Maines Bay. But things are not what they seem.
