Ellie Peters is a tall, talented dancer with pale skin, emerald green eyes, and dark brown hair. She hasn't opened up boys since what happened in her sophomore year of high school... but it's not like she'd have time for them anyway. Her life is about one thing: dance. Eat, sleep, dance, repeat. Entering her senior year, Ellie has hopes of pursuing her dream of getting into Juliard. Making her main focus dance and her grades, Ellie has no time for distractions. Sadly, when Lucas Mendoza somehow makes his way into her life, it's impossible to focus.
Lucas Mendoza is a hot-headed, vain, Mexican soccer player in the same grade as Ellie. He knows his looks can get him what he wants, and that's why Ellie can't stand him. When he is suddenly interested in Ellie, she becomes the first girl immune to his looks. Their lives become unexpectedly intertwined, will they be able to stand each other and become friends? Or maybe more than friends?
