Phil Lester is a waiter at a little café in London. Coming from a family that never had much money, his biggest dream is to have enough money to leave the city and travel. He hates his life and feels trapped.
Daniel Howell has just moved to London. He's a young photographer/writer/artist who's slowly making a name for himself in the big city and he loves interesting places with character. The café where Phil works definitely has character, and there's something about the colorful, slightly clumsy boy that sophisticated Daniel can't shake.
