After losing both their parents in a house fire 10 year old Lillian and her 6 year old sister Kyrsten have to survive. "We aren't going into an orphanage Kyrsten! I told you that!" Lillian snaps. They run into a dark forest where they live for 8 years. They work together to survive against whatever nature throws at them but nothing can prepare them for what happens.
