In a post-apocalyptic world, a group of survivors attempt to overcome the obstacles presented in the dystopian world in hopes to create a new future.

Armed with a backpack full of essentials (does portable chargers count?) and her Dad's rifle, she learns to survive with the help of new friends. Zombie apocalypses can bring unlikely people together. But how close are they getting?

It's been seven months since the undead apocalypse began. Reid Abrams and his friends are trying to get by as best they can, surviving one day at a time. A sheriff's deputy gets wounded in a shootout and wakes up from a coma in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. He then goes on a mission to find his family in a world overrun by the undead. Officer recently was promoted to becoming a detective after taking down an organization of terroists. The detective is assigned with a new partner a forensics scientist becoming to an officer but when they go on there first case everything go's darker and down hill. They find themselves finding out too much about the people they work with and catch themselves in the apocalypse/ blackout. A new organization terroists group hunts them down in the apocalypse and they find familiar faces.
