"Life isn't a fairytale. It's about time you've realized that."

To most people Conan Winston has everything. The perfect family, perfect grades, captain of the football team, and a perfect girlfriend.

He's the golden boy.

All boys want to be him, and all girls want to be with him.

But he's porcelain; a beautiful masterpiece on the outside, but if it falls, it'll shatter.

And it doesn't take long before his life starts to crumble. His perfect parents? The only reason why they are still together is because they think it's the best for Conan, but the only time they speak to each other they are either screaming and arguing, or informing each other something important.

His girlfriend? She's cheated on him more than once. But there's no point in letting her know. And it's even harder to let her go.

His grades are falling behind, his family is tearing itself apart, and it wouldn't even hurt more if his girlfriend had stabbed him in the back instead of staying with him.

And that's where Devora Evans comes in. She's observant, dresses weird, and has huge black rimmed glasses that cover half of her face.

She might be the only person who can save Conan's grades....and Conan himself. But it doesn't take long before she realizes she's falling for him, but should she save him.....or herself.

Or can both of them be saved?

Little town, little events. Sage Marie Andrews has always been the dirty blonde, easy going tom boy of the small town Vernon Oaks that has everyone knowing everyone, gossip to beat the mailing system and a slightly stereotypical set of girls and guys to give anyone not used to it, a headache. Especially in the new level of parties and teenage nights Sage has recently taken habit in. At the young age of 15, she was friends with everyone, not super popular, but definitely in the spot light. She's the kind of girl who would volunteer to clean bed pans for old folks, and cringe at the idea of shopping unless it's for her collection of sport goods. Sure she made enemies, but she had allies too. One in particular. Chandler Riggs, a younger 12 year old who needed a friend, and she was there. After a brief but impressionable summer of growing close and being inseparable buddies, he moves away to Las Vegas for 3 years never contacting her again, just for her life of her first boyfriend, school studies, household drama and basically her attempt to change into a more feminine girl fall apart when she gets news her sweet kiddo pal is coming back, only to find, the city changes things, in more ways than one, and the kind, innocent, polite boy she once knew, is characteristically unrecognizable in the weirdest of ways. Drama, hate, triangles, mixed feelings, past secrets, present conflicts, these are all expected when the boy too wild for her small town changes her life at every turn; but what happens, when the most unexpected of feelings occur, prompting issues and shaky hope, when he seems incapable of truly loving anything? Or anyone. Not even himself, and she starts to wonder just what changed him in the 3 years he's been away to make him take on a whole new role in her life as well as challenge other aspects of it, along with her own troubling journey. Because for sure, they're not friends anymore. In fact, their far from it.
