The story of Alice Liddell is a famous one in the Wizarding World. Parents would tell there children of how she disappeared without a trace, and that if you didn't do what you were supposed to, you'd end up like Alice. Never to be seen or heard from again.
Wren Rivers always ignored her mother's warnings though, but her mother tried and tried to keep her daughter safe knowing first hand what happened to Alice-after all, she was watching Alice that day.
