"Wha- what are you doing?" I whispered, backing up against the wall slowly.
He answers with a smirk. "I'm trying to kiss you," he grabs my waist and pulls me towards him, "but you won't stay still." Without breaking eye contact, he leans down and gently places his lips atop mine.
"Don't get yourself involved with someone who won't live much longer," I gasp, breaking away.
His green eyes bore into mine as his thumb traces my cheek. "Darling," he murmurs, "dying or not, I will always be involved with you."
I shiver, and he only holds me tighter. It's then when I decide that he's the one I've been waiting for.

Slowly, he lifted his head and kissed my chin. I didn't respond, I just continued to stare out the window.
