Kathy's life had been unremarkable, living with an un-loving family, doing chores, with no real friends. Well, until Kathy gets a very unusual request, she is asked to be a witch. Despite, the known dangers of this witchcraft, Kathy accepts, and then's when her world gets more interesting. Blasphemy, the crown princess, soon becomes Kathy's friend, due to a freak meeting in an alley, along with Hawke, an awkwardly charming outcast, and Blasphemy's stiff-to-a-point older brother, Prince Charles. And so Kathy's training goes on, safely, and secretly, that is, until the witch-hunter shows up with an order from the Queen to hunt down all witches, and kill them.
