Kaley is 17 years old, living the country life in Mt Isa, QLD, Australia.

Her parents own a huge horse stud along with 8,000 + head of cattle. The property was located a while from Mt Isa which meant she had to catch the bus to school every morning. 

This story is set in her summer holidays. She is left with the responsibility of running the property for 2 weeks by herself with help from the station hands and workers. 

When a blow-in cowboy shows up at Mt Isa Rodeo and shows a keenest intrest in Kaley, she is almost immediatley dragged into his looks and personality. What she doesn't know about his past can't hurt her though, right?
