We all know the story of Cinderella, right? The evil step-family the fairy godmother, the glass slippers, and getting home at midnight, right?

Well, this is the story of Danielle. She wants NOTHING to do with the prince, and all she did was put on a mask that The Witch gave her, and vòila, she was set. Handsome as he is, she is there to get a well-deserved night out.

But the prince is intrigued by this less than interested girl he met at the ball, and all he wants to do is find her. However, Dani has other ideas, as she finally breaks free of her Aunt's tyrannical hold, and sets out to see the world.

All the Prince has is the mask she wore to the ball. How will he find her?

The prince nearly hated his staff, even when they'd done nothing wrong - and were only trying to meet his needs. One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast. A majority of this story is a prequel, and will fall into a bit of a sequel as well, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
