“I… I’m sorry,” Cade apologized. “Look, Lukas, I have a girlfriend and… and we’re getting married soon. Whatever impression you have of me is wrong.”
“I like you and, I know, the feeling is mutual.” Lukas shook his head, stopping Cade’s objection. “You only need to be honest with yourself and admit how you really feel about me,” he added.
Cade removed Lukas’s hand and said, “Lukas, I know what I what. I want to have a peaceful life with Kate. Nothing could ever change that."
Lukas’s face darkened and he withdrew his hand furiously.
“I have always gotten what I wanted. You will be mine, Cade, no matter what it takes. You can count on that!” Lukas roared.
Lukas’s tone frightened Cade. But above all, the underlying promise scared him the most.

They say that time heals all wounds but not for Aiden. The guilt is consuming him and no matter what he does or what anybody says he can't seem to forgive himself. Aiden has always gotten along with his younger brother Liam and his best friend Jamie; they used to do everything together and shared all they're secrets. The thing is that Aiden started feeling things for Jamie that he shouldn't and then the accident happened. Now he can't even look at Jamie without feeling guilty and his brother hates him. Both families are falling apart and when Liam decides to go away with Jamie's family to see Emma, Jamie's traumatized younger sister; Aiden scrapes up his courage and offers to keep an eye on Jamie.
