Kudo Shinichi is not someone who you would've expected in other stories that were told by others.
This story, however, is much more......

Kaito Kuroba, second-year student at Ekoda High School and the famous prankster magician that everyone will ever fear and love.
Hakuba Sagura, Ekoda High School Detective and 'someone's' least favorite guinea pig to play with.
Aoko Nakamori, daughter of Inspector Nakamori, rebellion towards Kaito Kid, and best friend to Kaito Kuroba. (Note: By day he's Kaito Kuroba, by night he's the famous jewel thief, Kaito Kid.)
The story was supposed to follow it's course and plot. The thief steals a jewel, the detective tries to catch the thief, and the daughter tries to bring the light in her best friend's eyes by following the right path of justice.
However, this story is different, unique, and one that will make your heart jump in anticipation and alacrity.
A new student had just arrived from American and is attending at Edoka High School.
He's big, chubby, fat, and have a shy personality that made him feel like everyone would discriminate him for who he is from the outside.
Kaito Kuroba, however, is different.
Lovely azure eyes that are hidden behind his glasses; he turned back to the front of the classroom and began to introduce himself.
"H-Hello. My name is Kudo Shinichi. N-nice to meet you."

"KID, I am so done with your games. SO done. What is going on with you recently?! You've never been this... this unfocused. This desperate."
Shinichi glared at the white clad thief, trying to find some sort of emotion in that stupid pokerface of his. And yet, all he did was smile, taking a step towards the detective.
"All I can say is... my time seems to be running out. I don't know what it means... I don't know what will happen. I guess..."
He paused, lingering for a moment to collect his words. Even the warmth of this beautiful summer night was not going to ease any of them.
"...I guess we'll just have to find out."

While KID seems to have quite the trouble finding Pandora, something else falls just into his lap. Touching this gem with his bare hands might not have been his best idea...
The moment he woke up the next day, he could see a timer engraved into his skin, magically counting down second per second. Did KID have the slightest clue what the timer was for? No. Did he panic? Of course he did.
Especially the longer the timer was running, the more secrets he seemed to uncover about the second magical gem he had ever known about.
