Charlotte leaned over my work examining it closely, eyebrows furrowed in concentration. Her chocolate brown hair glistened and her velvet smooth voice came tumbling out in a wave of exasperation.
"I told you to carry the two!!" She grumbled
"It's not my fault that I wasn't born with the amazing gift of understanding numbers!" I retorted
"Honestly Skylar I don't know what to do with you" she said sighing as she got off my bed where we were going through my math homework.
"Stuff me in a freezer?" I offered playfully
"Tempting but no," she replied in her usually cheeky demeanour, "I'd rather feed you to the hungry lions at the zoo"
