Tess Rixen is still trying her best to heal from the scarring memories she obtained at the Dark Nebula. However, her attempts fall flat, for even the mere mention of 'Dark' or 'Nebula' can freeze time for her, sending Tess away in a flashback of a nightmare.

Along with the stress of burdening a betrayal, a new fear of the dark, Eagle's refusal to obey her commands, and an increased phobia of enclosed spaces, Tess now has to deal with the World-Wide Beyblade Tournament, where both new and old faces challenge her.

Along with the haunting memory of the Dark Nebula above her, the disappearance of her friends, Dan and Reiki Sodo, Tess has to power through this tournament with her game face on.
