The werewolves have shown themselves, so each town has a pack of werewolves with humans. Snow is human who lives in a town of the Moon Pack. When Snow is going to bed she gets dragged out by her best friend telling her to run since the Blood Moon Pack is attacking. When Snow looks around she see that the Blood Moon Pack is killing the Moon Pack and the humans. She watches as her best friend dies from the alpha. The Blood Moon Pack keeps her alive and takes her back to their territory since she is the alpha's mate.
