Ghost love story, about a lonely guy who works at a construction site miles from a law firm this girl he likes works at. Anyway they pass by each other on their way to work, but hes too shy to say anything to her, he wonders if she even knows he exists. One night, he gets drunk and dies. He wakes up as a ghost and wonders where he is. He soon realizes he's dead and a ghost. When a girl named Elijah is sent to 'hell' by her father she is abused and treated like a dog. She doesn't have any friends. She knows what she is, what her family is. Nobody knows she exists in the world. That is until a 'old friend' is thrown into the cell next to her. They become closer friends and plan an escape to leave. But when they leave they run into even more trouble. Her cell friend is taken from her and she is alone. She ends up having to go through some things alone for a little bit. Until she meets him. But the problems don't stop there. Though she has him so much more than she wants is going to come crashing down on her.

Christmas sucks. When Emily Shepherd's boss boyfriend cheats on her with her best friend, she loses everything in one night-love, friendships, job, and home. In a weird fit of desperation (or some deep-rooted need to punish herself even more) she moves back to her hometown, a place that also holds some emotional trauma.
