Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it. I have a secret that I don't share with most. I've been swept up into something bigger than anything I could ever imagine, and now I'm involved with more than just this one world. Our universe is bigger and more amazing than anyone realizes. Reality is merely subjective; we judge it based on what we experience and perceive, even when others do not share the same experiences. I learnt the hard way that wanting to be normal is just wishful thinking. More specifically when I found out who my dad really was. Then again, having a child while I was still a kid myself already sealed the deal on being anything but normal. But I was happy, for a moment. - Ok, ok. I think I've dropped enough hints about the fact that I'm 'different'. I guess I should spill the beans. When I was born, I had a rare cancer- mum had told me this. She didn't tell me anything else about my birth, other than that the kemo therapy went wrong. The doctors were testing a new serum that didn't cooperate with my blood type. It did cure the cancer, but it had a side effect. The serum made my bones and muscles shrink down to about a tenth of their original size. I'm very small for my age, I have to say. I'm quite proud of myself though- I've grown half a millimetre so now I'm about the size of an artline pen. Amy Leebeck is your average 16 year old girl, apart from one tiny detail. The world is screwed up place. Everyone in it just wants peace when it isn't promised to nobody. We work for ourselves to try to improve our ways of life only for someone who has more to take it. Everything is about monetary gain and if you don't got the green you better have a way to survive. Help wont come when you need it. There is no home and having shame is a simple thing of the past. We all tell people to have hope. We tell them that if they work hard enough that change will eventually come and with that change they will find their happy ending.
