Arthur would do anything to get his hands on the Kingdom Of Faye and the secret scrolls that the city holds, magical scrolls that can grant anyone immortality and endless power. 

When the King And Queen of the Kingdom Of Faye die to the plague, forcing nineteen year old Adelaide, the princess to take the throne , Arthur seizes the opportunity. He sends guards to kidnap the princess to bring her to him, make her tell him the location and the scrolls and then kill her along with the villagers of the Kingdom even if it means torturing her to get the answers.
