The Duchess' Bonnets It was past three years. It was past her obligation to stay. She has the right to go home and be who she was. She will truly miss everyone that she bonded here in London and in her husband's other estates. But it was not enough to make her stay. Specially if her 'husband' was the main 'attraction', who was currently overseas doing what the high heavens know what with his mistress. Truly, he is not worth staying for. Even the fragile Ellie was not enough of a compromise, though she could take her away and live with her forever in her home. She was sure her negligent brother would be grateful. She breathe out a stress, and continued to arranged her head. She will continue to dress like this until she could expose herself safely. But for now, she has to endure and adore her headdress. Because it kept her hidden in plain sight, and kept her alive. ****** Credits to the owners of the pictures ******

-Damian Davensport- He was the next Duke of Hinley and all of his Father's responsibilities fell into his shoulders. Yet, he was not happy. -Rose Roderick- Raised as a servant without any memory of her past life, she had managed to lived content with what life had offered her. She had grown into a desirable woman who had a roof over her head and food at her table. Yet her heart yearned for something riches and finery could not give. -Dathan Davensport- All his life, he had been the second best. No title to inherit, no responsiblities to think and no wealth to enjoy. He was the black sheep of the family, the opposite of the perfect son his brother portrayed. Yet, he had yearned to be accepted. He comes home and discovers not only he had wanted what his brother already have but what he cannot have as well. For five years they were apart. They had hoped they would outgrow the attraction and closeness they had between them. She knew that her emotions do not count, for she was a servant and he was the next Duke of Hinley. For five years, Rose Roderick kept her admiration for the young Damian Davensport-that is, until he came back and all those stirrings came alive. This time it was hotter, fiercer and more dangerous. But not only does she feel conflicted with him, his brother, Dathan-her great friend had began showing more than childhood closeness to her. He had shown her passion and lust. Things she had responded to willingly. Can she give her heart to a man she could never have? What of her body desires, who screamed to be held captive by someone she did not expect to fall for? And how could she go on, not fully knowing what her real identity meant?
