SYNOPSIS
JAYME-LYNN is almost seventeen and has no friends, she is a social zero. Jayme-Lynn is a SORCER (witch) whose parents JOHN and MATHILDA (Mattie) PRICE died in a fire she accidentally started on the night of her twelfth birthday. John, a SPIRITUS (latin: spiritual) was never supposed to marry her mother Mattie, a TEMPORE (latin: elemental). They have two different abilities and the GUILD (witch hunters) passed down an edict: No mixing. To save Jayme-Lynn's life, her parents John and Mattie Price promised she would never know what they were, what she was (HYBRID), or practice. The local Sorcer parents forbade their children from socializing with Jayme-Lynn. After the deaths of her parents, John and Mattie, Jayme-Lynn accepted this isolation and pushed everyone away.
Until she met ETHAN. Jayme-Lynn pushed and Ethan pushed back. An Army brat new to Salem, Ethan is determined and stubborn and likes Jayme-Lynn immediately. JULIAN, a Spiritus boy, is the intended COUNCIL leader (Spiritus governing group) and has always been the driving force behind her isolation.
