This is a Himura Kenshin fanfiction. Akane, the main Character, narrator and Younger sister of Kaoru( Kaoru is in her late 20's in this fanfic. I read in a website that she was 17 in the anime, but she's not 17 here ) 
Akane is talented with swords, but doesn't carry one around. There aren't many Himura Kenshin fanfics, good ones at least, so I hope you like this one, this is a rom-com by the way. I just can't help myself
