My shoulder is bumped and unfamiliar fingers wrap themselves around my forearm.
"I don't like being touched." I say prying fingers from my arm. "Thank you."
Unfamiliar fingers boy just grunts his disapproval of my words, leaving me with a few choice words of his own in anger. Sorry, not sorry.
Humans. Worse, it's teenage humans, filled with so many hormones that could fully stock a pharmaceutical company. I'm not excluded in this statistic but still... As Mark Twain said, "Man - a creature made at the end of the week's work when God was tired."
The accuracy in his statement is astounding. Who can create something overly amazing when the weekend is hours away. Definitely not me. By Thursday night, I'll be pre-gaming for the weekend. Friday is just a formality.
