Lost And Found: A LGBT Story
Katherine James aka Kat is visiting her grandmother in New England for a week. Kat decides to meet with an old friend before she heads back home to New York. Her friend doesn't show up and it starts to rain. In order to stay dry, Kat runs into a building nearby that looks like an antique shop. She sees something that catches her eye. She picks it up and purchases it along with two other items. When she goes back home to New York, Kat looks at the item that she had her eye on and finds a letter addressed to someone she does not know. Kat uses this as a inspiration for her story. She learns about a secret that she never knew about and true love.Concluida
Perverse Discovery
This is a series of short stories inspired by a friend. After buying a new house his mom found a letter (random scribbling?) left behind in a back closet. The scrap of folded paper had warnings about demons that lived in the walls and forced him to sell his house. Needless to say it was an unsettling discovery. Pair that with my own personal experience of buying a house sight unseen and moving (literally) halfway across the country in the middle of a pandemic I had enough material to put together a short collection of stories. Each story opens with an item discovered in a house followed by either the origin of the item or the discovery of the item. All focus around the experience of someone moving. I write these for fun (there are more coming, just editing at the moment) and my own entertainment during the time of social distancing. I hope you find something relatable or at the very least gets you thinking. Enjoy! PS - Although I would not consider this overly graphic there are some more mature scenes and use of adult language.Concluida
Searching For Mrs Riddle
When Hermione Granger is sent an old letter sent by owl, she discovers that the envelope the letter contains includes a heart shaped locket with the cursive initials H T. While this is shocking in of itself, what's even more so is the fact that the letter was dated during Voldemort's school years....and in her exact handwriting. The letter explains that she is to find Tom and help him to defeat the true Dark Lord of the wizarding world before it is too late. This story takes place just after Dumbledore's funeral on the grounds of Hogwarts, and before Hermione goes to console Harry Potter in the astronomy classroom. Notes: The usual disclaimer of not my OC characters, adult language, spicy adult times between characters, some wizard dueling violence, you know the drill, constant readers. Lilliana's great grandfather passed away. The house emptied and the dust gone, her family sold it though she never saw anyone buy it nor come near it. The house just next door to her great grandfather's was also owned by her family - well more specifically her grandparents. Lilliana and her mother rented the house her grandparents owned yet no one bought her great grandfather's old one. At least that's what she thought until she received a gift in her room from her 'new next door neighbor.' Or as she likes to call it, her stalker. * * * "Who the fuck even are you, huh? What if you purchase a book from a second hand bookstore and found a dying letter written on it? What would you do? Would you ignore it? Would you try finding the previous owner? This is the dilemma of Eric, a young DJ of an evening segment to a radio station. He bought a book at a small second hand bookstore. When he got home, he tried to browse the pages of the book. He then noticed that at the last blank pages of the book, a letter was written. It started with the greeting, "Yam" and ended with "Your Dad" It is actually a letter of a dying father to his daughter whom he had not talked to for ages. Having read it several times, Eric wanted to give the book to the daughter but his dilemma is he does not know where to look for her. The only clue that he has is the simple greeting, "Yam." The letter kept on bugging him, as if pleading to be sent to the addressee. What will he do? Would Eric be able to give the dying message of the father to his daughter?Concluida
