The Team get kidnapped by The Light and are forced on an impossible mission to where even The Light are to frightened to enter: The Asylum.
The Asylum is home to the failed experiments of The Light that are too insane and too powerful to be in The Light but The Light refuses to kill them.
Now, the experiments are finding a way to escape and they have revenge on their creaters burned into their minds, so The Light sends in the reluctant Team to stop them from escaping.

While in The Asylum, The Team meet a thirteen year old Richard Grayson that has been stranded in The Asylum for four years trying to escape, with no memory of how he got into The Asylum in the first place. But with the boy's amazing hacking skills that help them through nearly every obstacle, how he got there is the last of their worries.

With all the failed, hell bent experiments they face and the threat of being blown up with The Asylum by The Light when they've stopped the threat, are The Team and their new companion going to make it through?
