Fay Rivers is half witch and half werewolf. She is the only child that has ever been conceived by two races and born alive. But Fay posed a threat to an evil witch named Kiroda Vanarra who had set a prophecy in place since the day she turned evil. The prophecy states, " An evil witch will rise up and try to take over the kingdom's leaving death and destruction in her path unless a destined half-breed child can defeat her." With this prophecy in mind, Kiroda used a potion to seek out the child and found Fay, a small child, living in a small village. In the dead of night she set the village in flames and watching as everyone and everything, burned. But what she did only sealed the prophecy. As Fay survives but filling her with hatred and revenge.

Gaia was appalled at the gift and added the gift of light and earth. Nyx was afraid of what her children would be. After their birth, she noticed they were each gifted and very different. She named them Drake, Luke, and Helen. They grew to be stronger than any other human, with unique gifts and powers.
