Illara had trained all her life for this moment. She had been chosen - from all eligible women throughout the three kingdoms - to be presented to the dragon. Her noble sacrifice would ensure the safety of her lands for a full year. She glowed with pride at the thought. And any moment now the massive dragon would come soaring over the mountains, his massive strength and awesome power -

What was this?

Along a rocky pass, moving with the persistence of a love-struck cow, was something metallic. Something shiny. Her heart thundered with panic as the object drew closer and resolved into a shape. For she knew it could ruin everything. It could cause the destruction of all she held dear.

It was a knight.

Half of all proceeds of the Dragon novelettes benefit battered women's shelters.

While this first book is non-explicit, due to the strong sexual content and adult situations in future books, this romantic suspense series is recommended for readers aged 17+. The series is structured for readers to read along as I write them to offer feedback and suggestions on the complex storyline. If you're the style of reader who would prefer to wait until the entire series is finished before you tackle it, that is fine! Simply wait until the series is complete and I'll offer the boxed set. I do that with all of my books.

The reason I publish as I write is that I don't write full time and it can sometimes take months for me to finish up a storyline. There are readers who don't want to wait - who would rather read along as I go and stay engaged in the process. That way they can provide feedback and suggestions on the storyline. Whichever way works well for you, I provide an option.

I'd love to hear from you at my website at OpheliaSikes.com.

Midoriya Izuku - Evoker's Destiny (B1 of Midoriya Izuku - The Winter King) by GaryGaster

Previously Midoriya Izuku - The Winter King (BNHA x Love of Magic) "You can run, but you cannot hide. We come for you, Winter Child. We come." Those are the words I, Midoriya Izuku, heard before being attacked by what seems to be a rotting dog corpse. It moved faster than the eyes could follow and was about to bite me on my jugular until...time slowed to a halt and on my hand are...playing cards? In this story, Izuku will have the power of the Winter King. Ochaco will be the Summer Queen. There would be slight changes in both of the canons due to the mixing of these verses. A BNHA (MHA) x Love of Magic fanfic. I neither own the characters nor their stories. All rights derived from BNHA belong to Horikoshi and of LOM to DroidProductions. Warning: There will be lemons. 🍋🍋🍋 Eventually. Also, while this will be a harem story with quite many lemons for other characters planned, the story will be mainly IzukuxOchaco (with Izuku standing in Owyn's shoes and Ochako in Emily's). Book 1 for Midoriya Izuku - The Winter King Series. Will continue in Book 2. 😁 NOTE: Chapters marked as "Rewrite" are just chapters converted from first-person POV to Third-Person POV. Eventually, the rest will be converted and I'm removing the marker. I'm not rewriting the plot or anything like that, so you can continue just fine if you're okay with first-person POV. Just the conversion and maybe an additional paragraph or two of descriptions. I'm still releasing chapters as usual. That's all. ✌️

"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. "It was the first thought she ever shared with me." Skylar pursed her lips. "She likes you very much." "What about you?" he teased gently. "How do you feel about me?" She set her jaw and once again managed to look down her nose at him while staring up at him. "Well... well, I'm rather fond of you, Orion." He let out a relieved laugh and pulled her into his chest again. "What a relief. I was worried it was just me." He nuzzled her temple, inhaling deeply, his dragon fully at peace. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. As a princess and heir to the kingdom, her future was daunting enough. The fact that she turned into dragon and would be killed if anyone found out made it all the worse. So, Skylar lived in constant conflict with the beast within her, all while training to be queen one day. When a fellow king discovers her secret, she is forced to flee or put her entire family in danger. When she meets Orion, the Alpha of a dragon clan, he helps open up a whole new world to her. In this new world, Skylar discovers who she is supposed to be and what she's been hiding from. She finds the beauty of her beast and a love she only ever dreamed of. But then her new world is threatened. It becomes a matter of kill or be killed, so Skylar's new family, with the help of her old, must rise to the challenge to defeat this threat. Or risk the extinction of her kind.

"As I laid on the filthy mat, my white hair fanning out like a halo around my head, I felt that ice inside of me fester. It grew and spread until it spanned across my entire body. It engulfed every thought inside my head, every feeling that was bubbling up inside of me. Like a virus. The cold quieted it all, until everything was still and silent... Until I felt nothing at all." Eira Gellert's world comes crumbling down as her sister is forced to leave for the army. "As our ship sailed on past the horizon, where the ocean meets the sky, I drifted off to sleep, and for the first time, I didn't dream, because reality was better than I could have ever imagined." • • • The perfect storm brings Bao, an kind-hearted, talented, yet unconfident waterbender from Republic City and Iroh II, a powerful, compassionate General (not to mention Crown Prince of the Fire Nation) together- quite literally. She saved his ship, and he saved her. Yet, in spite of all they went through together, Bao runs away from him. Terrified of public attention and being made fun of in the media, she seeks shelter in her family's home. Not one to be easily deterred, Iroh writes to her, and with the help of friends and family she returns to him, and to her destiny. It's a grander, more liberating one than she could ever have hoped for. One she faces her fears, she realises how much she matters, that she really was worth loving all along, and is finally able to face the world with open arms and open eyes. ||General Iroh II x Original Character|| A few choice pieces of knowledge about this book: 1. It's very close to my heart. It was my first fanfiction EVER, and I used it as a platform to write about a great deal of insecurities in my "real" life. So, most of the stuff you read about Bao is actually about me (unsurprisingly). 2. I wrote part of it about five years ago and finished it more recently, so there is a (relatively) dramatic shift in style about halfway in. I think the first parts are ehhh but it gets really fine tuned by the end. I didn't go back and edit the earlier parts, but if you stick around the whole time, it only gets better as you go! ||Once more, thank you, to everyone who liked this, and told me so! It means the world to me!|| One last sappy thing: I love you guys! Having said that, I'm out. ♡||

I look as she yells at my beta for making her friend mad, and I can't help but think about her. She is always going to be my world, no matter what. What happens if we have children? Easy. If she loves them, then I love them too. I love her, I always will. I will protect her no matter what. She is MY beauty, MY love, MY soul, MY mate. No one else will take that away from me. When she was gone, it was like part of ME was gone. I couldn't eat, sleep, or take care of anything. I was lost. I was mad. I was sad. Too many mixed feelings I didn't know I had. I won't let anyone EVER take her away from me ever again. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Natalia is just a girl who simply loves the supernatural nature. Hellbounds, Druids, Werewolves, Vampires, Kitsunes, Nogitsunes, Banshees, Kanimas, Demons, La Bête du Gévaudans, you name it. She basically knew EVERYTHING about them. She always felt this connection with them. Especially werewolves. But one day, her all time dream becomes her reality. Will she be able to survive the new, cruel world of supernatural creatures? Please stick with the book throughout the beginning, I wrote this first part when I was like 11 or 12. Chapters get longer too!
