The Touch of Infection by Ramileds

Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. It's been marked #1 in "alien race" wow It's been marked #1 in "infection" I did not expect taht considering it's been finished a while now but hey interesting to have for however long it lasts. Darcy's life was finally getting good. She felt like personally thanking the universe for her luck, really. The 18 year old had just been chosen for the lead role in her school's upcoming musical. Not only that, but the coolest and hottest guy had also asked her out on a date. She was over the moon. But it seemed like the universe had other messed up ideas. Darcy's life spirals out of control when she wakes up five years later in bed, with a swollen belly, her date next to her and chaos outside. Everyone alive seemed to have jumped through time to a dystopian zombie era. Now Darcy has to survive a menacing zombie apocalypse while trying to raise an unexpected baby. What could go wrong?

The zombie apocalypse started in April. Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder. Human extinction was inevitable and the probability of surviving wasn't just slightly possible, it was impossible. Especially when she's alone. Disclaimer- Any similarities to other stories or films is purely accidental and not done intentionally. Obviously, I adopted the idea of zombies and do not claim to have created them.

Oh, what a wonderful time to be alive! Medical care is better than ever, the number of homeless has dropped dramatically, and war hasn't been sparked for five glorious years. But. Oh, of course there's a but! Did you truly expect this to be a story about a utopia? (Especially seeing how it's written by ME, of all people.) "End Trait" is the name of the virus, given to it by the survivors. The virus was created through a chain of events triggered by an atomic bomb, and much of humanity is gone.
