Grief. (n) Deep sorrow, especially that caused by someone's death.
All of Jack Melton's problem were 'caused by that one word. Grief. His whole life flipped after her death. He no longer smiled, he was no longer the loveable boy that he once was.
Depression. (n) Feelings of severe despondency and dejection.
All of Kenneth Green's problem were 'caused by this medical condition. He seemed to have the perfect life, but no one seemed to bother to look past that mask of perfection. He was slowly fading into the darkness that was his mind, could a troubled boy like him save him from himself? Or will his darkness end up hanging up off the ceiling.

WARNING: This book is basically a whole trigger. As you read in the description both main characters are going through tough times, one battling chronic depression. From there he starts to learn more about this "Luke" boy. Will he meet the man, who might've caused Luke to kill himself?! What will happen when he finds out that the man who despised Luke is showing interest in him although he's in Luke's body ?! - This book is about a romance between two men and has mature content. This short story is based around the loss of a friend, and coping with that loss with therapy. ~~~ I placed the letter back down onto the small coffee table, wiping away the tears that rested in the corner of my eyes. "How do you feel, Samuel?" the doctor asked, hovering her pen over a piece of paper. "I feel the same way I did the last time you made me read that letter" I responded back, a slight bitterness in my voice. "And how did you feel?" "Lost. Lonely. Hurt. Betrayed." I listed, watching as she wrote it all down, listening as the pen scratched against the paper roughly. "Anything else?" She pressed on, staring down on me like an ant. "I lost my best friend. How do you think I fucking feel?" The tone of my voice made her flinch slightly, but she quickly regained her professionalism. "Samuel, I need you to calm down. Shouting at me isn't going to do you any good". She pushed her glasses further up her face as she scribbled more onto the page. "Shouting?"
