She didn't ask to be on the cross country team.
She didn't ask to lose her parents.
She didn't ask to be kicked out of all five foster homes.
And she most definitely didn't ask for two dwarves, babbling on about some quest with gold, a dragon and some guy named Mr. Boggins to start following her around.
Unfortunately, things were only going to get weirder...

"Is it still a no?" He asked, his voice was deep yet soft at the same time. "Hard and cold." "Oh, come on, Lou! Live a little. I can be your tour guide and show you around town. It'll be fun!" He looked unsure and I knew he didn't want to. I shrugged. "Okay, I'll see you at home." He moaned. "Fine, but you have to ditch me right now." My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun.
