Bound

I am a fake. They call me the Lady Verra of Cornwall, but I am not. She never existed.

Nevertheless, I was sent to Camelot to marry the heir of King Uther Pendragon. I am to bring peace in the form of an marital alliance to my kingdom or my sisters will die. I am to live out the rest of my life under scrutiny. Constantly afraid someone will figure out my false heritage. No matter how plush my pillows, I will never be comfortable. But why would Cornwall chose me when there are so many true noble women to chose from? Me, a commoner? A lie?

I hear whispers in halls of Camelot, of discontent and rebellion. One that could be fatal to all of noble blood. If I reveal myself to these rebels, I could get my vengeance. I could escape this lie. But it might mean the death of those I love.

Who should have my blade? The monarchs that trap me in a cage? Or the rebels that could doom me?
