In a world where we live our lives only seeing our surroundings in shades of black and white. We know no different. That is until we meet our true love, our soul mate. That's when things ever so slowly begin to bloom into colour, our eyes know after sensing this particular hormone that is released from 'true love' allows our eyes to suddenly see colour. Lena Simons is eighteen years old, her brother Tabs is ten and her parents are in love. It's the way her world works, once you meet your souls mate you marry them because why would you want to live in a place without colour? Lena has yet to meet her's but oh how she waits. After your last year of college you are suggested to go traveling in order to find them; it increases chances apparently! She almost loses hope but one day in a dark sketchy coffee shop; a rose turns red.
