Kari is attending Yale this fall and is finally able to rent a small apartment for herself in Connecticut. For the first time in her life she's able to make her own decisions and see the world for herself, away from her overbearing parents' wealth and status.
Everything is going perfectly until some random kid with a nasty attitude shows up on her apartment balcony in need of a place to hide. Against her better judgement she helps the snarky boy named Dylan and now she's stuck on a roller coaster ride she can't seem to get off of.
