I am a survivor, a legend and at the same time your worst nightmare. Nobody knows i exist. The ones that have seen me, well let's just say that they didn't sevive, to see the next day.

“Shift or die, it's your choice”. He said. I saw more vamps comming in our way. There must be about twentyfive  now. No way I could beat them when I was so weak.

I had to think fast! they wouldn't hesitate to kill me. I had to shift. It was my only way to survive right now. I could escape tomorrow.

I let out an angry growl when I realized, they would have to see me naked. I began shifting back to my human form, the pain was still there and I Screamed.


As fast as I could I coverd my expoust body and looked up at them, anger filled my eyes. No way I would show them any weakness.

Two pairs of footsteps had entered the room, meaning two people. I couldn't concentrate or gather enough strength to look to see who. The pain in my back turned excruciating. I screamed and gasped for air. I felt the flesh in my back stretching and ripping again. My bones weren't breaking but were growing out of my back. I bite back another sob but failed. My cries were getting softer, not as loud. This pain wasn't nothing like the pain I felt when I shifted. The pain was too intense and I was feeling overwhelmed. I gave in to the pain and let my self be pulled into the darkness.

I wanna be a Freshwater Tropical mermaid (knowing damn well that I don't live by the ocean.) but my parents are thinking about moving somewhere else soon because they don't like where we currently are. I want to stay motivated because sometimes I can procrastinate and then loose interest in something 😭 ((UPDATE)) 09/08/24 I haven't lost interest at all, just been on and off trying to balance teenage life and mermaid shifting.
