So this was supposed to be a short Dave X Dirk but some people wanted more so now there's some more plot. Prompt: could you possibly do one where Dirk and Jake break up, and Dirk is heart broken while Dave tries to cheer him up, then some stridercest? My Response: Sorry this took so long. I know this was asked like 2 months ago, but I have a really hard time making my old laptop work and I'm not even posting this off of my regular laptop. I know it's like a thing where John and Jade are siblings and like they're related to Jake and Jane, but we're just gonna keep nanna and Jane and popop and jake separate people from separate families. Also I'm gonna have the strider and lalonde families separate because it's just easier that way. Okay so John and his beautiful sister Jade are having their yearly ball at their mansion. However, what they don't know is that their father invited an unwanted guest. One who may just change the very way Johns life swings. A Life Made In A Movie. A Very Bad Movie [DAVEKAT]
Karkat Vantas. A very unpopular, short, and short-tempered troll. He tries desperately to make it through his first year in a human school, but with everyone still not fully accepting trolls added on with his so-called 'stupid' blood color, he can't find a single person who understands him, yet. Dave Strider. Maybe one of the most popular guys in the school. Nobody knows why he's always wearing those cool ironic shades of his, and most people want to find out. But Dave himself wants his eyes to stay hidden, and nobody else has ever seen them. He thinks that if anyone did, they would make fun of him and his good reputation would immediately disappear. The two, basically opposites, find that they actually might get along and relate to each other. But who knows what a simple sentence could do? (this is my second fanfic and the first homestuck one i've ever written so if the writing sucks don't judge! also none of the art is mine. ships included will most likely be johndave at the beginning, and throughout the fic theres gonna be erisol, rosemary, some jadenep, johndirk, and vrisrezi! if you don't like one or more of these ships deal with it.) This is a homestuck fanfiction. Jake is the main character and will be the prospective you will read from the story MOST of the time. It's in third person, though. Not like when Jake himself tells the story, but MOST of the time, it will be his thoughts. Ok now for the actual description. Jake English lives with his grandmother and had found out that his best friend, Dirk Strider had been killed by a vampire. In a small depression, Jake misses school to take a walk. As he walks down the sidewalk, he sees a kid run into the road without looking. A car at full speed headed toward the poor boy. Jake made a tough decision to save the little kid. He pushed the kid out the way and the car hit Jake. Jake went unconscious and woke in a abandoned house with a friend he would soon discover... ~And you don't get to know until I say so~Concluida
