He watched her and the team of scouts leave, waiting for the day they came back. He had grown close to (Y/N) and had feelings he never felt before. It was more than friendship. The day arrived when the team was to come back but the didn't. Only a few horses, covered in Titan and human blood. He dreaded the worst. He and a few others went out and looked for the missing team. What they found was nothing good.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well.
