"Charming..." The Doctor exchanged a mock wounded glance with Anna. "You know I could just leave the whole lot of you to it. My friend and I... we should just go. Yeah..." The Doctor sniffed, shrugging his shoulders decisively, hands in his pockets. The Doctor turned on his heel, his converse trainers squeaking on the shiny floors....
"Nah! Only kidding." The Doctor leaned in close and read Benjamin's name badge. "Benjamin Alexander, Head Receptionist...Pretty shortly we are all going to be in danger but luckily I am here to help you through this." The Doctor's eyes locked darkly with Benjamin's; there was a grim expression on his face. "We are all in a lot of trouble and when I say trouble, I mean trouble... Big time."

When the Doctor and Anna decide to go on a sightseeing trip in the constellation of Orion to view the stars at the Supernova space hotel, it is a little unexpected when the pair of them are caught up in an assassination plot by a time terrorist from 51st century planning to bring war and chaos to the 41st century, for unbeknown to everyone at the hotel secret peace talks are being held by Earth's agents of the Galactic Government. Meanwhile outside in space there's a star waiting to go supernova...Join the Doctor and Anna as they fight alongside the Supernova hotel staff and guests, the most reluctant and unlikeliest of heroes to avert a terrible disaster and save history from being rewritten.

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! "Those aliens are not my concern, the Earth and her populations are. Now, Callisto of the Scout Regiment to Salutem, as a citizen of this planet and a soldier under my command-" "I stopped being a soldier a long time ago. And those aliens have done nothing to you, you didn't even know they existed until I told you about them. I joined this mission not because I was ordered to, but because I wanted to carve my name in history. But I will not mark my namesake as a murderer of the very first species we have found that is on par with human intelligence! If my legacy is to be the protector of those you refuse to acknowledge, then so be it." The room hissed and flowed with whispers and gossip between the different board members, like a waterfall being heard through thick earmuffs. The only voice to be clearly heard was Director Striker himself. "You are rooting for a lost cause, soldier. It is the manifest destiny of us humans to reach out and touch the stars. And if the only way to touch those stars is to sacrifice a few savages, then that is what we must do." Callisto felt her anger towards a man she once admired swell in her chest and wash through her veins with a burning fire. He was proposing mass genocide simply because he wanted what belonged to them. The wheel of history turns, but nothing is ever new it seemed. "Have you read a history book in your life, Director Striker? Manifest destiny is used a mere few pages before a genocide. It's not a motivation, it's an excuse." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fair warning: this is my very first original story so please be kind to my baby, she is a lifelong passion and a labor of love. •••COMPLETED••• •Please do not copy or post anywhere outside of these pages.

"Yaz?" I smiled as Jack's eyes got wide. "How did you survive? I mean...I saw the Daleks kill you Yaz. You were dead!" Jack still astonished hugged me once again very tightly this time. "She helped me. Rose. The blonde girl...I saw her. In my head. With the Doctor and you. And when I opened my eyes again. The daleks were gone and I was alone. The ship was completely empty and I couldn't do anything but close my eyes. Rose had saved me and I was going to die anyways. All I could do was wish I was home, and when I opened my eyes I was standing in front of my house.... 3 years after I disappeared." "You...time traveled?" Jack asked confused. "That's not all Jack." I looked at Jack's waist and quickly grabbed his gun putting it to MY head and fired it. "YAZ DON'T!" A few moments passed and I opened my eyes gasping for air looking-up at Jack. "Jack. I need to find the doctor. I need him to fix me." -- "Sometimes to save all, you have to sacrifice some." -- "You aren't just Yazmin Tyler, you need to get that through your head. You can't keep making these stupid decisions with the power you hold. You hold more than you think. The TARDIS didn't just CHOOSE you!" I was startled by Rose's loosing her temper. "The TARDIS gave you part of her, you are Time and Space itself...just like her. You need to remember Yazmin." Before she or I could say anything else, like a poof of smoke she just disappeared. "Hello!? WAIT YOU CANT JUST LEAVE ME AGAIN!" I yelled still on my knees in the middle of my living room. "Please. Please I don't know what I'm doing Doctor." I whispered as I silently sobbed. Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.
