Deep within a ruied castle she slept awaiting the day to seek her revenge. In the shadows Serine started to awaken. she was one of the few remaining vampires since the lycans tryed to genocide their race.but their a strong and confident people and could not be so easily anniilated. pockets of vampires thrive around the globe. they await the day a king and queen retake the throne.
The lightless cavern began to illuminate with serines neon blue eyes. her eyes were distinctive to her kind. when her eyes lite blue her true vampire form became known. she could see in the dark her strenghth was times ten as well as her speed and her fangs became apparent. and the only time her eyes glew was when her life was threatened or when she fed on blood. unlike vampires lycans eyes glow neon green but instead of just their fangs showing their entire bodies trasform. their jaws push forward their teeth sharpen and enlongate, their fingers crack and begin to grow lengthly talons, their skin darkens and becomes more leather like ,and hair begins to form everywhere.when a lycan is in their true form their strength is astounding 20 times that of a vampires but all that strength come with consequence. their speed is drastically reduced because the size of their bodies. still faster than any avereage human but nothing compared to a vampire.

He watched as her eyes skimmed over his dark eyes and black hair with barely a reaction. He felt his pride twinge a bit so he went further. Lifting his hands, he let the blood drip from them. Her eyes widened slightly and her chin rose. She looked at his hands then back at him. His dark eyes gleamed in a challenge. "You've not harmed me or mine, faery." She spoke out loud. "Blood does not scare me and neither do you. Keep your dog on its leash." Then she turned and calmly walked back inside. Intrigued now, he went to the window of the house and watched as she reassured her mother that the dog was gone "I'll see you tonight, reckless child." He promised softly. **** Marcus felt himself beginning to wake and struggled to stay in the dream. But it was no use. His eyes opened and he released the pillow his hand was gripping. It was the same one that she had laid her head on every night. His head went into the pillow heavily for a moment, breathing in her faint scent. He hated and treasured dreams like that with equal fervor. He rolled over on his back and stared at the ceiling. It had been decades since she'd been forced to break that promise.
