Circles

Penny and Charles have known each other since they were kids and played in the school pond when the winter froze it, and throughout the years, Penny's flirtatious comments and words had lost their shock and Charles had gotten used to them. During a school year, a new girl moved in and Charles' attention had been with her for the remainder of that year up until high school year, their senior year in fact. Penny had been on the Softball Team, the Football Team, Soccer, Track. The works, she cruised by on a straight 2.0 and that's all she needed. Charles on the other hand worked hard to get good grades and due to many failed football games in his past he just watches , but does play basketball. He focused more on his JROTC and academics, having a solid 3.5, but still left time for his Band, where he sang, his best friend Lenny had a 4.0+and was likely to be the valedictorian of his class. The girl who Charles had decided was with him and she felt the same back in their 8th grade year, Rose, had been just a cut below Lenny, but above Charles and was a Cheerleader and on the Debate team. Their lives were always fine until this year, at the midterms when things got rocky....
