Perception

What does it mean when you no longer feel your laughter anymore coming from deep within you? What does it mean when you seem to be confused and waiting for something every step of your life? What does it mean when you no longer know who you are?
And now i know,
Why everything was much simpler when i was younger,
As I ran through the streets feeling the wind on my face,
I realize now, as i become older, and as the times get tougher.
