Souls are all around: grasped firmly by the hands of the galaxies and wrenching them from one body into another, maybe even into a completely different time, past present or future it does not matter to the hands of the galaxies. This is the story of a certain soul, a very different soul, one who can resist those hand enough to stay in the life it wants to live. But the Firefly Galaxy has other plans for this soul, a plan to destroy it. Will the soul, live or die?
